Aurora 1040 Perry King and Santiago Miranda 1983

Designed by Perry King and Santiago Miranda for Arteluce in 1983, this stunning Aurora 1040 pendant lamp is in excellent condition, tested and fully functional. The plate supported by the cables is composed of a transparent methacrylate disc between two sheets of structured glass, onto which a metal track is inserted which acts as a conductor and carries electricity to the other lamps, creating a circuit. Three 50W halogens provide direct and diffused light. The lamp hangs from a white domed ceiling, which contains the transformer. The suspension cables are adjustable for different heights or angled ceilings.
