Coat stand with umbrella stand, designed by Ettore Sottsass for Olivetti Synthesis in the 70s, part of the Serie 45 office furniture program. The structure is composed of a die-cast aluminum base, a powder-coated steel shaft and umbrella stand, and molded plastic coat hanger arms. This extremely robust, stable and durable piece is in excellent condition, as evidenced by the attached photographs, with only minor signs of aging that do not compromise its beauty and usability.
