Sideboard from the second half of the 19th century, made of wood and papier mâché, finely lacquered and hand-decorated with floral motifs and scenes with characters in a romantic style. The piece of furniture, characterised by two lower doors and a raised part with turned columns and a small upper shelf, offers excellent storage capacity and is ideal for furnishing living rooms or studies with a touch of antique charm. On the back there is an original stamp of a Dublin company, still clearly legible, which attests to its authenticity and provenance. Although showing some signs of age, the piece of furniture is structurally in excellent condition and stands out for its quality and difficulty in finding. A unique piece of great value for antique dealers and interior designers.
