Iconic Wassily armchair, model 1009, produced by MDF Italia, with a Mannesmann steel frame with a mirror-chrome finish. The upholstery is in soft, thick black leather, with visible stitching that enhances its elegance and craftsmanship. This version, made in the years 1980-2005, is part of the "I Maestri del '900" series, produced in Colle di Val d'Elsa and distributed in MDF Italia furniture stores throughout Europe. The armchair is in excellent condition, equal to a display product. It was kept in its original packaging in a warehouse after the closure of a furniture store. This historic piece was featured on pages 20-21 of the MDF Italia catalog with the code 1009. In 2013, the company was absorbed by Holding Cassina and Poltrona Frau, making this armchair a true symbol of modern design.
