MHC.1 is the re-edition of the prototype of the first modern piece of furniture made by Molteni&C, a refined chest of drawers designed by Werner Blaser. Never put into production, this piece won first prize at the 1955 Cantù international competition (1st Selettiva), a key event in the redevelopment of the Italian manufacturing image. An authentic masterpiece of cabinetmaking, entirely constructed with joints without the use of screws or metal elements, which enhances the artisanal excellence and purity of the design. Excellent condition, like new.
