This sideboard with raised shelves, designed by Silvio Coppola in 1968 for Bernini, represents a rare example of luxury Italian design. Made of fine walnut crotch veneer, it combines a sturdy structure with an elegant and refined line. The four doors – two central and two corner doors that open 180° – guarantee practicality and versatility, while the upper part is divided into eight shelves, one of which includes four white ceramic bowls, perfect for spices or small objects. The drop-leaf top is further enhanced by a pull-out drawer that also serves as a tray, adding functionality to the design. Despite some visible signs of wear on the wood of the shelf, which testify to its history, the piece of furniture maintains a unique and timeless charm.
