85 Lamps Chandelier designed by Rody Graumans for the Dutch avant-garde group Droog Design. This iconic piece is paradigmatic of Droog's production philosophy: already available industrial components are assembled into a new object, in which form and function merge in a perfect balance between "less and more". The aesthetics of the chandelier arise from the immediate and powerful visual impact of the idea behind the project. The chandelier is part of the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York and is a symbol of conceptual design of the 90s. A sculptural and functional object at the same time, capable of embellishing any contemporary environment.
